crank vent

Recommended Posts

i know the crank vent tube goes in there, but what seals it?

I noticed on the valve cover there is like a white gasket stuff that almost looks like caulking. (except its dirty in this pic...)

If they are different, what stuff should i use for the pvc valve on the valve cover, and what seal stuff should i use for the pcv on the block tube?

The crank case vent is pressed in there. Its a pain in the ass to get it on or off. Make sure you put it back on before you mount the exhaust manifold of you are really gonna have to fight to get it back in.
