datslamd
Is there such thing as an L16 rebuild kit I can buy out there? Am I going to be forced to re-use my wrist pins? I know Rock Auto has some good stuff. Anywhere else? Quote Link to comment

datsunaholic
I haven't seen "rebuild kits" for l-series in 20 years. You pretty much have to piece together the parts to do the rebuild. What's wrong with the wrist pins? They aren't normally a failure item except in race engines. I know occasionally they come with new pistons, but the ones I have are considered "race" pistons which is probably why they are included. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Tyler! you been snowed in for the last year up there? The L is pretty tough. Usually just hone it and replace the rings, rod and main bearings and a few gaskets. 1 Quote Link to comment
datslamd
Haha, no actually, I began a career in the guiding industry and I've been all over hells half acre getting credentials and working. I've got the summer off and I am gonna use it to get my baby running. Lates Quote Link to comment
