Schroeder6th Posted May 3, 2009 Report Share Posted May 3, 2009 1971 510 L-16 Race Engine 5 Speed Trans Gear Reduction Starter with the following Part Numbers: S114-254D iso 142 Measuring from Starter Mounting Surface to the back of the Flywheel = 15/16 Flywheel Width = 1/2 Nose Gear of Starter extends= 13/16 Just Touching The Front of The Flywheel. Need a Nose Gear That Extends 1/8 plus Bench tested Starter, extends fully. Need a Starter with Extended Reach, Recommendations, Suggestions. Thanks in Advance, Doc Hudson Quote Link to comment
