Problems:

1) Rough Idle in the Morning. Car runs better when outside temperature warms up. ( I am Arizona):eek:

2) Car blows Smoke periodically at varying Speeds/Revolutions, but blows smoke Consistently at 4000 RPM.:mad:

 

What am I needing to look at. Compression Check, Warped Head (50k bottom end, 20k head), Head Gasket Shot, Too Much Oil/Back Pressure?:poop::poop::poop:

Too much oil? Check the dip stick.

Back pressure.... look for crushed exhaust pipe.

 

A compression test will tell you a lot about the condition of your motor. Get it done and record which cylinder has what compression. Blowing smoke is not good but wait until the results are in for the compression test.

Smokes consistently @4000rpm?Possible worn seals and the oil is going down the valve guides before it has a chance to drain back to the pan.
