Guest DatsuNoob
Got a dilemma, I need to get rid of the OBD2 distributor that's on my frontier KA and use one that will allow me to run OBD1 wiring. Everything else that has a plug will be OBD1 also. The frontier version of the KA24de is set up exactly like the L motor where the oil pump and distributor share the same drive. 240sx uses internal cam driven oil pump, and the dizzy is different also. Can anyone gimme some ideas about how to modify a distributor to work out? Can a fwd altima or 240sx be adapted? Should I just get rid of it and use EDIS? What vehicle? what set up, etc? This has been on my mind for some time now, while I have been collecting parts for the longest build-up/swap ever  Thanks guys Quote Link to comment
yello620
Can you use a dizzy from an early KA24e? Look at rockauto.com..I looked at a 89 240sx se and a 02 frontier, they look like they mount the same and the drive spindle looks the same also. This should be an OBDI dizzy. Good luck Quote Link to comment
Guest DatsuNoob
I'm not sure about the fitment to the pedestal, but it would be cool if someone local had one I could borrow just to see if things would line up. Quote Link to comment
