a.d._510_n_ok
:) I use the crap out of the site below - it's free and very simple. http://www.shrinkpictures.com/ Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
You are not a computer whiz, but you have the most difficult and expensive Professional photo program (photoshop)? You can just use Window's Paint. There are two things: 1. Photo resolution. Try to make it 640x480 (1/3 megapixel) 2. File size. Shoot for 100k or less for web (even though some sites can take bigger files). That's (usually) between 640x480 and 800x600 for JPEG file If you size to 640 x 480 with 25% compression (75% quality) it should be A-OK. Quote Link to comment

Like giving a Nissan GTR to a 15 y/o kid! LOL Jaime._______________________________________________________ Edited April 25, 2009 by jaimesix Quote Link to comment
650savag
I downloaded IrFanview and use it to re-size any of the pics on my computer or i have an account with Photobucket.com and I upload any of my pics to that site and use it to re-size, or edit pics and upload them to any forum or site. They are both free and easy to use. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
I downloaded something from way back on NWDE. Someone had it and once installed it's there whenever you access your computer pictures. Redeye was that you? When you right click on a picture there is a prompt to resize? You pick the size and it reduces it and makes a copy. Click on it and transfer to Photobucket. Quote Link to comment

Nothing wrong with p-bucket but with these guys ya don't even have to sign up for image hosting ! http://www.zweg.com/dump/thumblist.php?start=0&range=15 Quote Link to comment
inline4
you guys are making it entirely too difficult on yourselves :o if you are uploading somewhere that has an image size restriction http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&ct=res&cd=1&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.microsoft.com%2Fwindowsxp%2FDownloads%2Fpowertoys%2FXppowertoys.mspx&ei=nu_zSfruHqXYswPT5OjzCg&rct=j&q=powertoys+image+resizer&usg=AFQjCNFBSgEqh25XKEW2SE2Z6qFiXKRzrg microsoft powertoys image resizer. all you have to do is right click on it and tell it to resize... it will make a smaller copy for you.
