Vee Dub

This is the project I plan to start after I finish my truck.

It's my dad's beetle, but I'm gonna help him with it.

 

No idea what year it is.

The engine needs to be rebuilt and overhauled, but the transaxle is in good shape. There's plenty of spare parts at my grandma's, so this one will be cheap to fix.

The interior is good except for the floorpan (common thing with Beetles, obviously)

That looks like a fun little project. I have always wondered what a little Baja would be like to drive around in. :D

 

That one will take some serious work.

I guess I'll have to post a pic of my VW up when I get a chance. There is a VW baja bug running around town here with a 1600 datsun motor in the back.

Ahh, thanks for the link. I've ordered a few catalogs (can't remember the names atm) that heva good deals on bug parts, always good to find more sources.:D

Nah, not starting on this one until I get my truck close to being finished. That should happen sometime during the summer I suppose, because I'll have plenty of time after graduation to work on it.

That's what I was thinkin, Late 68.

I've had quite a few bugs. But like 20 years ago. The best one was a 63 baja bug with a 2180CC too much fun in that thing.
