On a 1992 D21 KA 2.4 e motor does the valve cover have more than just the 1/2 rubber moon at each end and the rubber valve cover gasket that goes all the way around? My motor leaks a bit out the rear under the valve cover and the head at the 1/2 moon plug. I also have two threaded holes but nothing in them, am I missing something?

This way someone researching information on the KA24E will find it in a search and how you fixed it. I don't think search goes through member's Status Updates.
Do you have a new replacement valve cover gasket? If not a thorough cleaning of the half moon with carburetor cleaner and rags and then the application of the thinnest smear of RTV on the half moon surfaces will probably seal it.
