They go through/ held into the bracket like lug bolts,, you could break them off then punch them out and JB weld some tiny stainless bolts into the back side

Yeah kinda ,, only using MGB manifold and carbs.. Probably just put an A14 in it since the 5speed is a easy bolt on and lower RPMs at freeway speeds would be nicer than having something "cool" to show guys when you pop the hood.. Nah,, i have a Datsun replacement that should also reduce the rear track as well to fit a little wider tire under the thing... shwing

You have to have an "A" motor to run an A motor tranny though.. And just those trannys alone go for something like $600. sooooo there's that. There is no 5speed option for the J13,,,,,, yet .. Don't let those 521 guys talk you outta that dash either,,, or make them pay through the ass to get it from you.

See now that's the difference in driving a nissan 240sx and a datsun.. With the ladies my datsuns attract they could just pull their shirt away from their body and their boobs would drop out the bottom. :hmm:
