  1. Sorry I just caught that yours is a red needle 3 wire and ours a 4 wire white needle tach. Definitely a different version, thanks very much for trying.
  2. Thanks for the assist Crashtd420 !
  3. https://postimg.cc/gallery/ixmgo018/ Pics of 510 tach
  4. what we have is a pl510 white needle tach. I have pictures if someone can tell me how to post them on here, or I could e-mail them if someone were interested. The resistor in question is open from one side to the other.
  5. Resistor is open, this is a white needle 3 wire tach
  6. Anyone know what the resistor color code or value is for the ground side resistor ? ours is discolored badly and one end solder connection is bad. The board is discolored but might be salvageable, some kind soul has been in here before the potentiometer is in upside down so no calibration from rear of assembly, (maybe more my first foray). Anyone have any deep info or a good NOS tach (Yea Right) thanks for playing you guys are great. I have some pics if I can figure out how to attach them definitely a novice on the boards.
  7. Relay is a bit melted, we bypassed and soldered a wire onto relay and got lights working but the fear is that the solder joint might fail if it gets hot enough, granted that should not happen but is a possibility.
  8. Thanks, wish there were a clearer diagram with color codes but hey we can figure that out as we go. again thank you.
  9. Hey All, trying to find a headlight relay for a 72 510 6 pin relay or a good work around. Only number I can come up with so far is 25230-N0200 which seems to not exist out there in the wild. Any help would be appreciated.
