Thanks for feed back. I love what you have done as well. My buddy has a built KA and i was very impressed. I look forward to seeing more of your build. Its super clean. Great job. I have not figured out the rad and fan yet. I have a dual set up for the bed but want to try to get it up front. I live in Montana and we got 18” of snow and the pickup is 60 miles away at my dads shop.

I get what your saying %100 percent, not that i have to defend or explain myself to someone i have never met. I to have been around the car world my whole life and know how to do things the right way. I knew coming into this that posting on a forum there are some people that take it way to seriously. The great thing about the inner web is there is sooo much info at the click of a button. If i would have had this when i built my camaro in high school, it would have been way different and easier . With that all being said the wiring on a 1jz engine is so simple i feel bad for people that cant figure it out. I had a 30 day warranty so i had no choise but to figure it out and it was simple. As far as being able to “outrun” other people’s cars or pickups.....something i learned a long time ago is there is always someone with more money...more tools....more time...ect. I am building a unique daily driver. Not a race pickup...not a show pickup...just a enjoyable daily. My daily now is a 02 GMC Sierra that i fully built the engine in because I can’t leave anything alone and like to have something that nobody else does....and has a very choppy idle. My camaro was an “asshole car” meaning everyone has one, and thats why i like the 620. You dont see alot of them...especially in Montana. Oh and as long as its a rear sump jz it fits around the cross member and stuff. If ya get a front sump....I don’t think it would work. And i will try to figue out a pc lol. Not sure if ya saw i also have it on instagram...it was easier to post pictures on. My updates won’t be as quick as most would like because i work full time, as most do, and its 60 miles away. I have only been working on it on the weekends when i have some spare time.

It already runs...runs great. I had it running a long time ago before i put it in there. I did a 1jz swap because you don’t see people take the time to do it. I thought about a KA but i have seen it done alot already. I didn’t have to cut the cross frame it actually lines up perfect. I pre fit everything before i cut the extremely rusty floor out of it...something you didn’t see. It was not a pretty good cab to start with because after sand blasting it was more like a flinstone mobile then a Datsun. I see that some people such as yourself have no vision and are like sheep...just do what other people do and never try new things. I also get if it was a “nice” barn find to not “butcher it up”, there was not one stright piece on the pickup. It was in a field for 30 years.

Thats awesome! I owe ya for that!
  9. Love the fender flares. I got the same on mine. When u mounted them on the box did u have to notch where the body line is?

I kinda thought I would have to put it back there. I already have a set up for the bed. Still gonna try to find one to fit up front. Looks cleaner in my opinion. Thanks for the info on the heater to. I appreciate it. The Datsun thing is new to me. I am an gm LS guy so this is a new adventure. I have a problem in i like all different cars and pickups. It like a disease!

Ya I assumed it was small. With where the engine and tranny sit i don’t think i will have a proble staying warm. Its still a long way from that part of worrying about a heater core. I still need to figure the rad and fan set up out. I am heading to the junk yard to see what i can find to still fit it up front. Its going to get crammed up front with the rad, trans cooler, and intercooler.

Yep MT does mean Montana. The heater was completely gone when i got it but it is going to have a heater. All the cables for the heater were toast so i am updating all of that in time.

As far as the suspension i am more then likely going air ride. I am having a rearend built for it out of a early 2000s gmc 1/2 ton. It is being shortened and posi put in it. I had one laying around so I decided to use that, it also had disc breaks on it already so that saves a bit.
