  1. rechroming is more than new.. there used to be a place in Portland.. that did reasonable chroming I'm not sure if they're still around. Unfortunately most bumpers need straightening and rust repair not just simply plating .. most chroming places won't even guarantee the Chrome on old metal..

  3. Actually i I think it's pretty clear what I was looking for. I've literally owned at least 100 510 and 240z cars. I think i know them better than most. I started out working on 60s Mustangs and in that area of muscle cars the trim that goes over the seam between the quarter and the door pillar to door sill is called windlace.. I've known it that way for 30 years. The fact that somebody in Australia or Japan wants to call it pinch weld doesn't mean that's what it's normally called. And I used both terms in my original post and somebody else understood exactly what it was..
  4. Well I disagree not calling it a quarter window because in the front of a door it's called a vent window on like an old Mustang that's not a 1 piece door glass to front pillar. At least in North America the rear of the car sheetmetal is called a quarter panel and above it would be the quarter window logically. . Anyway I bought new stuff from new-datsun-parts locally today so will see how that works. its 10mm wide and 16mm tall. They only have the one profile for the doors but it looks like it'll work fine on the "rear quarter Windows" LOL

Well looking at one of my cars here that looks like there's a gap between the quarter windows and this wind lacing so I would assume the door stuff fits fine just the pictures I've seen show a smaller profile on the quarter windows. I have 3 other 510s here but they're all X race cars so they have no trim

Need some rear quarter window pinch weld trim for a two-door here and I don't have the old stuff to measure pictures online show that the door and the quarter window are two different profiles at least on dat Sport and the 510 realm seems to be down and all the links that I find come back to that
  7. I have a shipping address in Washington State so that's not an issue.. I'm waiting on the new one to show up but still hasn't got here for some reason.. hmmm I'm also looking for some trunk torsion springs.. and the rear trim edges that the panels slide into for a two door..
  8. figures the search just worked and a link on the realm actually loaded-- been getting error system resources overload message a lot .. gates 21606 for pass side -- no stock local but rock auto - unless someone knows another brand/# to use
  9. i had it written down somewhere what heater hose fits and now cant find it-- the realm website isnt working very well to search and searching here didnt come up with anything- i have a perfect used LH but need a good RH or the part # to buy one thanks
  10. the cdn 68 is a different light-- while it maybe amber and red its not the size to fit a 70-73.. the Euro lenses seem to be able to find Nos.. i have a couple sets of those on the shelf-- its the metal trim that gets ruined by the exhaust on the drivers side and at this price it seems a deal --

  12. i see the euro lights repro are on sale for $300 a pair shipped from Au today on ebay-- so tempting-- when people want 800 for oem nissan ones-- at least the price is falling-- anyone got them- how well do they fit? might order 2 sets just as the shipping on set 2 is like $10.. and $200 cheaper than zcardepot

    looking for a fender that is perfect rust wise that i can cut the wheelwell off to graft a flare onto.. so there can be minimal bodywork needed on it-- aftermarket works as well and i dont need the marker light holes. all the FG fenders have the flares to far rearward with putting 5 degrees of caster now they arent centered on the tire. Closer to seattle- vancouver would be ideal but otherwise shipping to either ..
