  1. i’ve come to the conclusion that i need something besides an A series if i wanna get my shit sideways, so now i’m on the hunt for something simple to drop in this teeny car that won’t cost me a fortune to fabricate. was wondering if anyone had any suggestions? nothing too crazy, the original plan was an LS swap but not only do i lack the junkyard to find a sillverado to rape but i also lack the space/structural ability to put that in this car lol. trying to avoid FWD setups as i’m not too sure how well that would work out with the whole lack of space issue.   2. just curious, does anyone have a preferred brand of coil overs they run on their 210? mine is streetable to an extent, but i’m pretty sure my shocks are blown out so the ride is rougher than fuck. thinking about going with weld ons... any suggestions?

    BOOSTED A14 QUESTIONS...

    haha humvees are diesel yeah, and i had that thought/experienced that a few times and said fuck it, i’ll just keep an eye on my oil. also explained why my boost gauge didn’t work. that and it doesn’t have power going to it, but yanno. idk, i think i’m gonna go to autozone and buy a bunch of cheap spectre plumbing and fuckin send it somehow. sounds more complicated than this engine is worth for all that work lmfao
  4. so recently i came into possession of an 81’ 210, and it’s not just any old 65 horse shitbox... it’s got a damn humvee turbo on it. and the way it’s hooked up is probably the most ghetto way i’ve seen anything done, and i highly doubt that if it IS amazing any boost, it’s getting to the engine due to many places i’ve seen for it to leak out. my questions are; where can i get myself a blow thru carb for the A14 that’s in it, and if i can’t get one that comes manufactured for it, what else can i do? also, with converting/replacing a carb to blow thru, don’t you have to amp up the fuel delivery system as well? maybe run an electric pump or something...? what all would be recommended if i did just convert my carburetor myself, and where can i get the shit to do it? carbuerated things terrify me and so i was literally gonna just find a carb hat and fix some welds, fix some plumbing and see what happens but i hear that if you don’t replace the floats and delete the choke and some other components, you’ll pretty much rape half the internal parts in the carb. not trying to buy forged internals before i actually get to make any boost or figure out HOW to, because by the time i got it all rebuilt i would probably lose motivation. navigate to nearest gas
  5. hey everyone! i need anybody out there with some knowledge to answer me somethin real quick... would the VQ30DE from a maxima match up to the trans from a 350Z...? asking because the rest of the internet doesn’t know how to give a man a straight answer. any help would be appreciated. apparently it works just fine if you’re swapping the 30DE into something and trying to stay RWD... kinda like i’m thinking of doing with my datsun... maybe... just wanna know because i just bought a motor with 40k on it and it’s for sure going in my car. how is another story...
  6. i was snow drifting today, and my car started to act like it wasn’t getting gas. alarming, so i called it quits and started home. now it won’t idle, but when it gets to around 2500 rpm it smoothens out. i’m thinking head gasket... any ideas?
  7. heyo! just a few quick questions, i have an 81 210 and i was trying to find some new wheels for her, something cheap and simple but i’m not the most knowledgeable when it comes to that stuff. i don’t know what will and won’t fit, and i don’t want to buy something only to find that they don’t work cause i’ll cry. if anyone either knows the spec for the wheels on my car, or has a nice set they bought and recommend lemme know! working on posting pictures still, i’ll try to get one up asap. ?
  8. i’ve been looking for those cute little books you can find at oreileys that has everything on one specific make of car (the chilton ones, read a bunch in jail) but i can’t find it. can’t find my owners manual either beings i got the car without it lol. idk what to do, i’m just trying to learn and it seems the internet hates the 210 because i can’t find anything on it.
  9. hey there datsun community, i’ve been putting this off for a bit but it’s getting concerning. my brakes are either original to the car or were changed a while before i got it, but either way i wanna replace them. with older vehicles though (especially my 210) it scares me when i get the wheel off and stare em in the face because it’s not that i don’t know what i’m doing, i just don’t want to get them off and then not be able to put it back together. there’s a lot of stuff that i just don’t wanna fuck up down there i guess and i want someone who’s maybe changed em before to be there and help me, but that’s not exactly possible. does anyone have a way they can explain to me how to do this? because there’s like a weird looking spring clip and a few other things that are freaking me out. a while back i did my heater core assembly and that worked out pretty good, but i found someone who printed stuff out for me with pictures and directions and that actually helped me grasp the concept and i could probably do it with my eyes closed now. it’d be cool if i could get something like that for my brakes. any help would be appreciated, thanks!

    hey boss, i appreciate it a lot! turns out my heater core needed flushed but long story short i had to rip apart my heater blower assembly. got it back in but my linkage is a bit weirder now and i’m doing my best to make it whole again. is there maybe a diagram out there i could go off to assemble it correctly or do you maybe know someone who’s an expert with that shit? any kind of help would be appreciated. ??

    hey guys!! so i really have no clue how to post pictures of things on here yet but i have a question for anyone who might know a thing or two. i’m trying to flush my heater core and i can’t find the damn hoses that go into my firewall. any idea where those are on a 1981 210? i’ve looked but probably not as hard as i should have. any help would be great!!
  14. hey everyone, i’m currently trying to locate the entrance and exit hoses on my 1981 210 and i haven’t had much luck finding em. anyone know where they are? i’m not getting heat and before i replaced the part i’m gonna flush it to see if that helps with anything. any help or tips would be appreciated!
