I actually have 200B (810) front struts in the front at the moment maybe those spring seats can be cut off and welded on to the 280zx strut tubes I'll have to have a look, I like the way it sits now and handles.

Thanks for confirming they are 280zx struts. The springs are definitely after market. If I buy these struts I will do a coil over conversion.

Been looking at bigger brakes and coilovers for the front. Can someone confirm if these are 280zx struts and brakes.

Couldn't find a original datsun hinge cover so got 1 made from aluminium. Not an exact replica but good enough for me and won't crack.

He mentioned on Instagram that he just sold 2.

Unfortunately I live in Australia. Doesn't look like anyone has any info regarding dimensions that I can use so I will find as many pics as I can, give them to my mate who is an awesome fabricator and see how we go.

If he does have 1 and is willing to sell it the freight to Australia would be very expensive and then I have to hope that a piece of 45yr old plastic would make it in 1 piece.

Any goon owners have any info on the plastic tailgate hinge cover. My wagon is missing this piece and they are very hard to find. I want to get one made out of aluminum. I'm any kind of dimensions etc I can use as a guide and I can't even find a trashed original cover I can use as a template.

Probably a long shot but does any one have any measurements, dimensions, drawings of the tailgate hinge cover. These thing seem to be made from unobtainium I can't find a decent pne at a reasonable price anywhere so I'm looking at getting one made but have nothing to use as a template. Thinking of getting it made from aluminium dont really want to throw a heap of money at a piece of 40yr old plastic.

Got the rear seat and wheel archers re-trimmed. Then did the rear side panels myself and re-installed the floating floor.

Wagon been running like a pig so got it dyno tuned.

having the battery here it is now doesn't bother me to be honest, its no show car just a cruiser, i never put anything in the back. when its due for a new battery i might look into it.
