    INSMNCS: John Cain

The level of almost harmless sarcasm is so high on this thread, I wonder why I just got to stumble upon it. What have I been doing on this forum since I joined?

Where on the surface of the Earth can I find one of these BMW 700s for sale, heck! Do they still even exist?
  4. Found this one interesting, the history of Datsun in America right from the Datsun1000. Great read. Have the preamble, link below. Datsun 1000 Based on the Austin A50 Cambridge, the PL210 or 1000 sedan was the first Datsun to arrive on U.S. shores in the late 1950s. While the official company name was Nissan, its passenger-car line was Datsun, and all U.S. imports would be so-badged. This particular example is held as part of the Nissan heritage collection, and is a bit battered from winning a round-Australia endurance rally, Datsun's first such motorsport victory. The race team's leader was Yutaka Katayama, a man who would eventually become a household name among Datsun fans as "Mr. K."....... https://www.google.com.ng/amp/www.roadandtrack.com/car-culture/features/gmp3903/photos-rising-datsun-the-american-history-of-a-japanese-brand/

    Truck Porn

It would have been a little better if the trucks tires didn't have to ride directly on the train tracks, better if the tires were a bit wider.

    Sightings

Hey guys, are pictures allowed here? If so, please how do I add them, I saw a very old boxy datsun van lying beat up around the corner and I was curious to get the name.
  10. I'm pretty sure you'll become a Datsun god when you die and we'll all worship you, who knows, maybe even start a religion. By the way, do you happen to have the manual for the Datsun Stanza?
  11. Hi guys, new member here, I've been searching for Datsun forums like this and Im so excited I stumbled upon this forum. So... Random thought. Growing up, I used to confuse the Datsun 710s with Corollas and I almost still do these days at age 23. They are very similar but the Datsun got my heart now. Talking about ageing well.

Your First Datsun? What was it? When was it?

New member... I'm hoping to purchase a Darwin stanza sometime soon, so I guess that will be my first Datsun, nothing will stop me on this one.

New member here too, still learning how to navigate the forum. The pictures of this Datsun 620 pick up are beautiful, I'm currently in the market for a Datsun Stanza, peoplem is... I don't know where to start looking. Hoping someone on this forum can link me up.
  14. I recently travelled to South Africa, and I was amazed at the number of Datsuns still rolling on the streets unappreciated, with most in badly beaten shape but not anything near irreparable with body work and little restoration here and there. I'm definitely going back to get me a Datsun Stanz.
