Heater lines cut and silver braze rod welded down to 5/8 size,uses hoses for 610 stock heater ,had to make a loop in hoses to compensate for engine movement.

Background on this car is I painted six years ago ,and body is in excellent shape (no rust and floors and trunk still shine as new almost)and we have up graded suspension ,brakes etc. Cust. request generic black engine bay for ease of touch up .here are start oics for tease.

Biscuit update__ online somewhere Dime Quarterly volume 9 issue 3 ,has Canby 2008 - speedo pinion replacement , not direct bolt in need retainer mod, Mine is an SR but here it is 32702-58520 pinion assy. complete .Also have Napa cable #BK6151683 Hey I am in Whittier and come to Costa Mesa often for a cust/friend on 17th st. Has a mb collection and a couple race cars.Have a stack of DQs and some other old paper ,have Tilton 1975 price list of race parts.

If you ever plan a trip to So Cal or others from up north ,plan it when Pomona car swapmeet is going on ,biggest in the nation,tell wife to go to beach ,and you will see so many tri fives and many more exotic cars ,there is like three miles of parts for various USDM cars and they have a VW and Porsche section separate, I have found many Datsun parts/carbs in back rows but hit and miss sometimes ,YOU CAN BUY DATSUN door seals and felts by the foot- cheap ,So much to see at least one time a must , socalcarculture.com I go a couple times a year get a hold of me .

Hey biscuit I have a part # for correct one in a dime quarterly issue here ,if your gearing is off ,have one in my sr and real close on speedo ,had to make a retainer plate.

280zx turbo stock wheels were +10 6 wide stock so 15x7 205 50 45 0r 16x7 with + 10 for zx struts with minor scrape sounds when corner hard in a 4dr,run 8s better go +20 and run spacers or 300zx struts in front.Again this is for function ,maybe .Check out my 16x7 post ,I can't fit a 215x40x16 or 225x45 test tires on rear hit fender bad ,but fit on front with zx struts +10.Needed + 20mm wheel in rear and maybe. Use test tire ,best advice !

What car are you working on ? ON REAR - 15x7 o offset wheels on White 4dr 510, I can't fit a 195x50 had to go and stretch 185x55 and still scrape,junk, but looks great ! but some of us like to go fast ,so forget stretched tires . Just my input before you go and purchase tires, mount a used one !and good luck .

I would restore your 56 all stock , it seems all there , all wagon are super hot in So Cal,I painted this for a budy a couple months ago ,he put two scratches in it so it's coming back soon , for two panels to paint ,will be a little work had four clear coats ,two and then wait a week or more sand light and another two coats of clear to be sprayed ,so it has time under to shrink cure ect.

We can't lose the endangered 710 enthusiast , that's all.

Will try and put some other wheels on when cust. not looking .

I want to paint mine and make presentable for cars and coffee in Irvine ,Cali, maybe my friend will let me park next to his 58 red MB. gull wing from the Mercedes xmass commercial worth a mil. now ,anyway thanks for input ,but I can't stand the fenders as a bodyman they were funk ,I need a cool two tone nice paint job.,so I am getting ready to go stock and lower like 6" in rear 3" in front .I will post when I tack them on had more of 56 did not get loaded yet !,Like to see pics of your 56 2dr my buddy is looking for one now that mines running .

Hey I have wrenched on that car you call whored around , maybe we can finish or try to ,dual side drafts with correct manifold and a fat cam , maybe rear disc after that and a shot of penacylan ..like to trade two 0 offset wheels on rear for + 10 to fit bigger tires.
