  1. Found a video if anyone is interested! Posted a week ago on youtube.
  2. Oh snap you guys gave me plenty to work with. I mean some people argue the Weber 32/36 is too big for the A14 but mine chugs along great with 32mpgs the only hang up is if you are really in tune with your car you can feel that slight delay if you pound it to the floor at low RPMs but I have learned to adjust by easing into it but only for like a second then give it the beans. There are so many routes you can go I have always loved the option of mini carbs because if I change TOO much might as well just swap it but if I can make the little A14 scream for few $$$'s why not. It is all learning experience to me I love wrenching on my Datsun but she never lets me because she has been too reliable(only thing that shit out is the starter in 4 years). I just wish there was more Datsun guys in NJ.
  3. I thought I saw it somewhere on here does anyone have pictures or video??? Thanks I just thought it would be kind of a token swap but you could throw some stacks on there.
  4. I have a B310 with a A14 and a weber 32/36 I still get 31.5 MPGs on average I have averaged it out for months at a time and still same.

I am right there with you I got my axle taken apart for the last month. I was almost done but I keep doing other things before getting back to mine. I have work stuff going on and family came to visit but next 2 or 3 weeks I'll be putting it back. I did get my stock wheels repainted, I might move on to painting the axle too who knows. I now see there is alot involved to a KA-T swap keep up the good work amd keep updated om here and Instagram(I follow you) it keeps me motivated to get mine nice.
  6. I am currently living in NJ and hardly see any post about this area. Is the Datsun community just not existent here? If I can get a few people interested I would like to get a meetup/cruise going on in the next few months for all Classic Nissan and Datsuns. If there is any interest just reply to this post!

Yo 80Datson got any progress lately?
  8. Couldn't post in classifieds for some reason, mods take down if needed. Looking for cheap wheels and tires around New Jersey I have searched CL and facebook market and no good results anyone around here got something I can pick up fory B310. I am really looking for some daily drivers nothing too crazy. I am keeping my eye out for slot mags or welds type. Much appreciated ratsun community.
  9. Okay so it is a 1982 and he wants $400 for it. If I pick it up I'll get some pictures for you guys but like I said this thing is rough.
  10. I own a b310 and would like to buy this 1983 280zx with a 5 speed. Problem is it is very extremely rusty, however runs and drives. Will this still be a good candidate for me to grab the front struts/brakes for my b310. Also would there be anything of value left in the car? Such as the diff or motor/trans. I would say most of everything(interior/exterior) is trashed. Any quick opinions on the this?
  11. Thanks everyone. I will try to run a separate set of tires than my streets I do have a spare set of wheels to slap them on. I am trying to do this on a budget/cheap so we will see how this season goes. I will keep it updated I will even post videos/pictures if I can make it out to the events.
  12. I will be in the FSP(F-Street Prepared) so I am allowed a pretty "good" amount of small mods. I am in that class because I have a weber 32/36 that is the only reason I got bumped up but I am using that to my advantage with weight reduction I took off the front bumper and might take off the rear that has to be at least 50lbs combined. It allows me to run non-DOT tires so I can get some stickies.
  13. Good morning Ratsun community! I just got into SCCA solo AutoX last year. I have been a long time follower and finally was able to participate last season. I drove my Subaru wagon a few events and then my e46 BMW the rest. I had tremendous fun driving both cars on a course like that and I was actually pretty competitive in my class. I had no worries about those cars when it came to reliability or breaking anything. My friend of mine is trying to convince me to take my Datsun 210(b310) out this season and it should be a riot/thrill to drive. My only reservation is the suspension is dated and it is at stock height(pretty good amount of body roll), should I be concerned? I am not worried about the engine(it is in great shape). It is about an hour drive to the course from my place as well and I would drive it there and back. What is your guys opinion on this matter? If I was to do any refreshing of the car to make it up to snuff and worry less about it what should I do to prepare? Are there any mods you guys recommend that are on the cheap side? I have moderate access to tools and ability to make things happen. Bonus! Does anyone have any pictures/video of their B310 autoxing? (I know plenty of people take dimes out
  14. Thank you Datsunfreak. I almost hate that I love these cars so much the more I learn about them/mine. I will change my profile it was outdated anyways.
  15. Wait I am so confused. So my car is a 2 door sedan not a coupe? Mine looks just like the OPs 79 210. I've had this this like 3 years now and have been calling it a coupe this whole time.
