Upgrade the center to H150 and you use the B210/B310 driveshaft. I probably have a 1200 driveshaft I'm not using in my storage unit somewhere, I put a 510 wagon rearend in my 1200 (same as B210 flange AFAIK) so I won't be using it. I'm unloading the storage unit in about 2 weeks if you want me to keep an eye out for it.

How? 1974 axles have the same flange but 75-78 are different than 1200. I used to use B210 driveshafts in the 1200 as they were easier to get, had to have an adapter.

Upgrade to a H150 center instead and you can use the driveshaft AND get a stronger rearend to live behind the A14. Doug has the adapter spacer. Alternatively, you can machine up a flange adapter on a lathe, made one about 20+ years ago. Later driveshafts are slightly shorter for the longer nose on the h150.

    Where to buy sporty stuff

Guess I will find out soon, ordered the radiator (mine has a slow leak at the seam and I need to resolder it). I'll update with how it goes.
  5. They were pretty popular a few years back at the JDM engine wreckers, lots of guys putting them in their VW vans....which is what we had at the time so we were looking into it.

Have you run that radiator? How much finagling is needed to get it to work? Does it need an electrical fan or will it clear the mechanical?

'73 1200 Coupe Project, aka Timmy

Mind making a template if you make this? I would be very interested in one of these also, as would I suspect many 1200 coupe owners would be.

    Best battery for a B210???

I definitely agree on the Walmart and Autozone batteries, damn junk. Not even cheaper, just junk. Costco's Kirkland batteries used to be Johnson Controls, no idea who makes them now. My last one did 8 or 9 years so not bad.

    18volt Power wheels Jeep

Best mod I've seen is using cordless drills to replace the motors, way more torque and speed.

    Best battery for a B210???

Bigger is better. o Many batteries are made by 1 of 3 big companies so brand is not so important. The B210 doesn't require much in the way of a battery. I generally run Kirkland or Napa batteries just because they are cheap and available. I am currently running a BCI Group 24M deep cycle NAPA premium marine battery because 1) if fits in the hole (Stock is group 24, 25, 26 will also fit), 2) it is one of the cheaper batteries you can get, 3) deep cycles are more tolerant of being run way down.
