Spotted this yesterday at the Lynnwood Fred Meyer. Talked to the guy for a bit, found out it belongs to his brother and yes, that is a wrap.

I want to, but I need another leak pack and with this being my only car its hard to find time to have it that far apart. Family, work and the house keep me pretty busy. Plus I don't have a usable garage so all work has to be done at work.

I wasn't clear, I am replacing the springs with a new set, the current springs are too long and too soft plus they are a progressive rate spring so I'm not really sure how to calculate the rate on those. I used that site before to find the spring rate of my first set of front coils, very useful. I'm just not sure what rate I need for the rear. The car is a daily with some autocrossing thrown in for fun. I have stock rear leafs with 2" blocks and I'm just looking to stiffen up the rear a bit without making it too bouncy.

Did a quick measurement of of the rear coil springs, they have an inside diameter of 2.36" but I'm pretty sure I can get away with a 2.25" Now I just need to figure out length and spring rate, length should be fairly straight forward. but not really sure how to figure out spring rate, any help would be appreciated.

That thing has been sitting there for months. It was parked out behind their building when I took that picture, it has since been moved to the front of the building. I haven't looked at it, just drive by it everyday on my way to work.

Good thing my engine is under powered then ;)

Correct, I cut some of the coils to get it to sit a bit lower. I'm going to do some math (which I'm not good at) and replace the springs with something shorter and stiffer. I have some Prelude seats I want gone, they might fit.

It's the same one that was in the car when I bought it. Eventually I'd like a 280 5 speed, but since this is my daily I'll use what works and focus on fixing/replacing the things that don't.

Not much progress made on the car, but I did get a few things done. finally replaced the noisy throw out bearing. added some gauges. Not their final resting place, still need a radio delete gauge plate. Picked up some SU's, these won't go on until I sort out my exhaust. Took the family camping. This was the first time camping in the wagon, poor thing is way under powered for all this weight. Also did a bit of off roading, there is still dust in the interior.
