Im going to get the truck soon once I have the frame I will knowhow it's gonna work better once it's here

I think I'm gonna go with the 4.3 it seems to be the best motor for this build for everything to work right also thanks dab list for pointing that out about low end torque

The only problem with that is will I be able to make the sr or ka trans to work with the transfer case???

It has vortec heads I'm just saying from what I've read on them that's what a lot of sites say any way I really don't know I have no experience with a 4.3 well any v6 for that matter

I understand my only problem is from what I've read the heads suck ass as far as airflow

And I got the whole frame transfer case and trans for 100$ and yeh I can live with it with the tires I'm putting on it it won't look that bad

It needs to be gm though so it will bolt to my t5 5 speed so. The transfer case will work its. I'm setting my 620 body on a s10 frame becuz my frame is trashed it's a lot of fab work but I can do it

Is there a better v6 out there that has more aftermarket parts fit it that would be a good engine for my build....

And if I do use the 4.3 I will have to find a new trans anyway the one that was in the truck it came out of was shot

No there is no emissions test down here I'm trying to figure out what 6 cylinder to use I want one with some power

It runs like shit its knocking pretty bad so I was just gonna go for a rebuild

It's a vortex it came out of a 98 s10 they both need rebuilds so I will most likely be rebuilding the 4.3
