So I thought I would share this with you guys, my buddy Ron who I sold this 69 to, sent the truck to TJ, Mexico to get painted. Now I will say it came out way better then a lot of 4500-5500.00 jobs i seen here or around. Its not done yet, got to do some cleaning and repolishing of the wheels and so forth but night and day difference even when the first guy built it. I will post more up as it progresses .

All the paint is gone in the engine bay next is clean up prime it and paint it..And NO Datrod its not for sale and it will be finished. And that top portion I am not stripping it is very smooth so I will just sand and paint.

Thanks to Datrod I got some things cadded and zinc plated. Fuel injection toys and headlight buckets.

Pulled everything out so i can be sure the new engine will fit with out hitting anything.lol

Very nice install and car, 1 question though if your running the stock fan were is your fan shroud ? Does it cool better with out one I figured if you go electric then push or pull fan and your good but with stock fan shroud is needed. Car looks awesome very nice I am doing the same

Now go to the box on the bottom of the thread like I am in now, click the photo upload button another box will open right click in the box paste, hit ok, boom you should have your photo uploaded.. So I take it your not going then.. Send them email and let them know, why is the sky always falling this ain't chicken little. Let them know the situation and see what happens. I am more then sure they will accommodate you.

Depends what hight wheel you go with also. If you go with lets say a 15" wheel with a negative offset or even close to 0 offset, when you lower your truck in the back with blocks 3" is the max because the shock/spring plate will hit the tire.
