  6. Nah mine is a 1970 built late 69. But I am going to shave off the 70-73 markers. I do have a pilar antenna. And I’m gonna keep the stock dash. But 69 is my fav too. I used to have one but it had bubble flares so I sold it years ago. Don’t even know if it’s alive still. Can’t wait to see your 69 all done. Your gonna keep it og right ?
  7. Yes this is the factory paint that was under all that house paint. Funny my car was produced in 69. My paint code is 831

  10. more factory parts from the dealer today Autocom Nissan in San Leandro is where I get all my stuff.
  11. got some more Datsun bling and restoring some other bits. Datsun shift knob. I think it’s from a hakosuka/kenmeri but found it on a 620 in the junkyard.
  12. They aren’t very thick. I saw some guy using them on victory 50 for a hako so I figured they were suppose to be there. Plus it won’t fuck up your freshly powder coated control arms 😁 and maybe not grind and make so much noise ?
  13. Yep yep and yep. Isky cam. Bigger intake valves 44 mm I think. U67 Head. No adjustable cam Gear. Just the OSK timing set.

  15. I think what he is trying to say is that I transferred most of from the other car. As far as no money well, not the case lol. The motor is an LZ23 long rod. The valve cover just says 1600
  16. The headers are Doug thorley. Not sure why no one else makes these.
  17. The block Z22 assembly Ready to go in headliner in 😁 and how she currently is now. I had all the hardware redone in yellow zinc and a bunch of factory Nissan parts thrown at it. Also redid the valve cover. Engine block is Nissan blue/green.
  18. Then I pressure washed her. The dummy that owned it before me brushed latex paint all over her inside and out. Yah was not fun. turns out someone ratel can spray painted under the two coats of latex. So I stripped it down to the factory paint. I plan on leaving it in its natural patina finish excpet for the engine bay , front valance and roof. Off for paint
  19. Well guys I listened to the Ratsun community and you all told me to stick with the 510 dream so I did. Most of all the parts were transferred over from the wrecked car and updated with fresh bits along the way. This project started in 2015 just now getting around to posting about it. I’ll keep it short and get on with the oics. The day I picked her up
  20. purchased these a week ago 4/1/2019 from the the Nissan dealer. Steering stopper caps. Fits on the Datsun 510 steering stopper bolts that go in the steering knuckle. Part number 40039-D0100 $1.83 each
