the clutch can only go on one way - with the longer end of the splined hub pointing away from the flywheel. a no-brainer once you look at it. thanks to banzai510(hainz) for the reply.

On a '73 PL620 PU, how do you determine which face of the clutch rests against the flywheel? Old clutch is out and orientation wasn't noted. Based on my memory, I think that the clutch disc has a splined center piece that sticks out more on one side of the disc than the other. Are there any other details to set the orientation properly? Thank you ahead of time...
