  3. Hey Slam, going to jy this after noon want to go?

  4. Hi Jeff,

Datzen Mike referred me to you.

I would like to ask you for permission to use the ratsun logo on a exhaust manifold heat sheild that I am going to have custom made for my L20B in my 1966 520. I plan on making a 2 piece heat sheild made out of stainless steel and have the Ratsun Logo water jetted into the heat sheild. The logo would be done in black and the rest of the heat shield would be either silver or orange. I am thinking of having the colors done in a ceramic coating for durability. Also would like to know what font is used on the logo.

    Thank you,

    Charlie Schuler

  5. Good morning Mike,

I am wondering who to ask for permission to use Ratsun.net name & logo on a custom heat shield for my L20B header?

Also what font is used for the Ratsun.net lettering?

I thought it might be you because of the King Rat under your user name.

    Thank you,

    Charlie

  6. How you doing?

Just thought I would see how you are doing. Any luck with finding a job?

I have been unemployed for 2 months now. I am hoping to here this week if I have a job in Big Sky Montana. If I do I will leave Arizona at the end of this month. It is too far to commute a 1000 miles each way.

On the bright side it will put me closer to Canby. LOL I just might get to met some of you North Western Ratsun people.

Any drop me a line. Hows the truck coming?

    Charlie

  7. Hi Dave,

How are you doing? I was wondering if you received the heater hoses? Please let me know.

    Charlie

  8. Hey Dave,

I just saw you message. I am still trying to learn all these forum bells and whistles. LOL

How are you doing? I do the thrift stores about once a month I enjoy buying stuff cheap.

I took tomorow of work to go to Pull-A-Parts 50% off sale. I am going in early and staying till close with maybe a lunch break. I am going after a complete rodeo disk brake rear end, Honda arcord buckets carpet & seat belts. They just got in a nice 78 620 I tried to buy the whole truck but they wont sell it complete.

I am glad to here you are getting out of the house. I talked to my Guitar friend from the seveties and he will not part with any of his amps or guitars. Bruno said he would keep an eye out for a good deal on one. He is running a bit of an under the table pawn shop out of his home so he has a good possibility of coming across something.

    Your friend,

    Charlie

  9. Hi Isaac, is the one in there now a 4 speed? check the grease level in it and also check the clutch to see if the noise might be a blown clutch.

You will need a five speed that is the same length uless you want to have your drive shaft shortened.

The 5 speed I have is 32 inches long. but it is old style L motor. It will not work with your Z 24. Last time I was at pick a part they had a couple 720 inthere and a hardbody, but I am not sure if they had they trans in them.

  10. Isaac, that is great. I hope you enjoy this forum as much as I do.
