It wasn't all that long ago that all we had was the telephone. I remember my dad teaching me how to use the telephone to call people. He had me call on cars for sale and ask questions. He would have a basic checklist of the details I needed to ask about, but figuring out how to end the conversation was the hardest part. It always is. I don't think the younger generations fully understand what it is to communicate any more.
