I have a pile of guns. I have a concealed permit and I am competent with them. I am also not afraid of the government taking them from me. If they require a competency test, mental stability test, license and registration of them I am fine with that. I also 30 years ago had an NRA membership. It didn't take long for me to realize they were manipulating me with propaganda and fear mongering bullshit. Fuck the NRA! You seem to have fallen under their spell. All the ranting and requesting ever more donations while they squander it away on parties and "personal" expenses. There is a weird way of manipulating people to spend thier money, time and votes. Somehow and I am not claiming superior intelligence but fuck me, some people are so easily lead when the proper propaganda carrot is dangled in front of thier noses. We are being lead to slaughter by our political parties and corporations and cheering it on like we are winning something.3 points

Igloo Kool Rest refrigerated armrest/cup holder for the win! And 240Z seats with integral headrest will keep your head from smacking the rear glass ...1 point

So I had an idea and with drakers help i managed to get the koolrest to the house. Already had the seats, bought them at least 11 years ago for little miss. But i mean, this is the bench from little miss pulled that out and set it to the side and slapped in the s30 seats and the koolrest little tight on the koolrest but there is room for adjustment and at this point no gap in the middle to cause an abyss drivers side(first) shows room to the sill and passenger side shows room to door. Don't currently have arm rests for the door so.... Will figure that out later 🤣 along with mounting them down May not end up being a long term solution for this truck because I am a little too tall for this setup but should be able to drive it with the seats against the back wall1 point

Hey dudes, not much to update on the 510 project. I did a little pulling last week, and my conclusion is that the metal is just really stubborn. I need to remove some panels to get leverage on the pieces that I want to straighten out. My other excuse on no progress is I'm trying to finish another project. I'm making a guitar for a friend and put some lacquer on the body this week. This is the wet sanding. Color coat was 2K acrylic lacquer from Industrial Finishes in Eugene. Custom color. Two cans of clear gloss nitrocellulose lacquer on top of the color coat. And polished with Meguiar's Ultimate Compound. Time to fab up some plastics, wire it up and finish the build. Then I'll have more 510 time.1 point

Still steady as she goes...fluids are in the radiator and clutch cylinder and mater cylinder....trying to get the fluids to flow to the correct areas and have nothing dripping on the floor at the end of the day...that will take some time for sure... My favorite thing to do in the world is weld and cut old rusty metal... I cobbled up this little dandy to hold the battery under the hood Bought some more parts from Speedway motors...a pair of seat belt mounts...had to modify them to work in the small confines of the Datsun cab... after a day of smoking the crack pipe and a lot of chin scratching too... I vaguely remember I had a three pout harness in one of my old Datsun...I think it was the 1972 and the 1974... How about a brand new (to me) package tray...and some un-obtainium too... Almost looks like it belongs on the old heap... I have gotten most of the old truck cab smell out of it too...I think the bench is not going back in the cab... Rocker panels showed up this week so guess what it up next???...doing the Rocker Panel Shuffle we are...1 point

You'll need an engine harness and some ECU, either stock or other. Probably want to upgrade the radiator. I ended up needing to run the fan as a pusher from the front. Fuel system upgrade for efi. Drive shaft will need shortened, don't recall by how much, I just gave the shop the measurements they asked for.1 point

https://imgur.com/a/G6HxsCS After my second rebuild (new bearings, rings, seals, valves lapped) I got the truck started with the big Weber I also made this coolant pipe because I thought having a big tube crossing over the engine didn't look great. Now to get some new tires and get it back on the ground!1 point
