Picked up a '73 240z today! Been hunting for a Z for a little while now and this one popped up down in MD. The price was right and a deal was made! Its a project for sure, but a solid runner. Already 2.8L swapped from a 280zx. First plan of business is to get it buttoned up to pass safety inspection here and get it Reg'd. Then wheels, coilovers, front air dam, rear lip... Long term - probably roll bar, race seats, wildwood brakes, cam, and some side drafts or Moto carbs. Lots to come!

Numbers on half moon is simply a mold cavity number. The mold probably has a dozen cavities or more so a dozen half moons are made per shot. This way if there is a problem when making them it's easy to tell which cavity is at fault. They should be the same.

Don't do it. Cutting the body is mutilation. The radiator has fans for circulation, not needed. It will change the body lines. Hell you could mount it under the box where the spare tire was... with some louvers for stone protection.

I have been putting off getting this truck registered, having no paperwork and fearing the worst. Now that it's drivable it was time however. I trailered it to AAA today. Super nice lady helped me (although she made me unload it because she "is not allowed to climb on trailers to look a vin plates"). As predicted above, I did have to then take it and get it weighed. It was a bit scary squeezing in between all of the big moving trucks! But 2.5 hrs later and I HAVE PLATES! The AAA lady even looked for a plate with the numbers 620 in it for me, but no luck LOL Pinstriping touch-up and a new bed cover and she will be ready for the Solvang show next month.

One I've been wanting to get around to for years and finally just went ahead and built.

Russia had no reason to invade Ukraine. Russia entered into the conflict preemptively. Remember, Ukraine "allowed" Russia to "store" warships in Sevastopol. Russia had control over the "free" Ukraine and could have kept it, quietly, the same way they kept it for however many years. China has no reason to engage in any type of military conflict with the U.S.A. China has the American economy by the balls. All China has to do is keep squeezing and watch us implode or keep milking our economy, while hardening their economy and influence (cash in king in Western media and politics) until it is difficult to differentiate between China and the U.S.A. The "war"for control is won, without China (directly)firing a shot. China plays the long game.

China is a pain in the ass but little threat militarily. We need their cheap counterfeited crap from WallMart and Cosco and they need us to buy it. They know which side of their bread is buttered. India to the west hates them, mountains and Tibet to the west and north, Russia and the Gobi desert to the north and Japan to the north east they are contained on every side, but the ocean and the US rules the sea. 99% of China is worse than 3rd world poor and all the wealth is on the coast. Everything is failing in China, construction, banking, infrastructure and the best they can do is flood the world with fentanyl and failed ideology. Since I can remember, the US and Russia have always been fighting proxy wars only interrupted by the dissolution of the Russian federation. The Trumpeter kits have a few issues and they are way to pricey for what they are. The new Moebius kit is far superior in my opinion.

Put drilled and slotted rotors on. Seems like adequate brakes for the stock A15 haha
