Whoever owned the Cali donor frame must not have known about the threaded holes in the drum for removal. They bent the dogshit out of them

  4. During my testing to obtain my “flash” or job badge as a TAC-P I called in a bombing run at the Nevada Test and Training Range from this. I didn’t hear this air frame until the munitions were released. Then I had the shadow of it cross over me. It absolutely scared the hell out of me. I never called one in during combat actions. But this is what nightmares and UFO tails are made of.

  7. Here’s a fun story for you. So I’m at my desk in the Tactical Operations Center (TOC) waiting for anything to do when my Maj came in. He looked at me and said “fuchfase, you’re up”. Typically people only call me by my real name when they want something, so I trotted after him wondering what a humble Senior Airman could do for such a majestic Army Infantry Commander. We walked across to another tent where his 1st Sgt was, it housed a platoon of the Army’s finest soldiers. A 1st Sgt is the enlisted person who doles out most of the discipline. If you haven’t served this would be like being c

I'm saying this vaccine has too much bullshit about it. https://www.deconstructingconventional.com/post/18-reason-i-won-t-be-getting-a-covid-vaccine Simplified from the link. But take a look at it, he lays down his argument in a very rational and fact driven way. #1: VACCINE MAKERS ARE IMMUNE FROM LIABILITY #2: THE CHECKERED PAST OF THE VACCINE COMPANIES #3: THE UGLY HISTORY OF ATTEMPTS TO MAKE CORONAVIRUS VACCINES #4: THE "DATA GAPS" SUBMITTED TO THE FD

Thats how he tricks kids now a days. he gets them to do these KA/SR swaps then they quit and scoops up all the parts later for dime on the dollar and swaps a couple wires and Ban its running. He just got the Green 510 wagon . he said it took him like a hour and bam it was running and didnt run for years!!! I found Jeff a 12v KA and kid has a 240sx/ said he put a

If I do it would most likely be 2 jenvey efi throttle bodies vs staying with carburetors.... Looking good...

  20. If I have to go to one of those places, I carry. Mostly if I see that sign I ignore it. In WA State it’s not a crime to violate a business restriction on carrying a gun. There are state laws on carrying into bars and some other places, which I also don’t go to. In this specific case two men were carrying which created a hostage situation. I was told by Dan McKown, one of the good guys with guns, that he and the other good guy that I didn’t know, were both banned for life from the Tacoma Mall. This is an interesting opinion, although it probably w

  26. Stealth also applies to sound. While supporting a Minuteman emplacement in Nebraska, all the crew noticed a very low volume hum. The next thing we knew a B52H flew dieectly over us at a very low ground hugging altitude with its wipers brushing grass hoppers away. It was simulating an attack on Offut AFB as a consensus war games guess. Damn! How could anything that big fly so low with so little noise ? By the way, those down the silo never hears a sound even though the lid was drawn back.

  27. Say that again!!!!!!!!!!!!! I meet a Russian girl from a 3rd world country of Moldovia . I would meet in my Jeep. But then one day drove the 521 and said you need a ride which was only down the street. She said DONT LOOK SAFE!!!! she walked back to hear apartment. That ENDED any pursuit by me when a 3rd world LADA drving free loader Bitch says that to me. Like she all above that . Made it simple not to call her again. she only waned money and buy her groceries.

  28. Just remember 521 dont stop that great. I give extra room driving these now. Since you have a cool motor and want to hear those carbs kick in as for the exhaust I know you said you going to put 2.25 in but at the Y pipe putting a 2 inch will be ezer. I run 1.75 as really the exhaust is necked down at the begining(Y Pipe and manifold) and making it 2.25 is really just for looks.

  29. The above is also a very good point. Exhaust deposits can collect and prevent the valve closing. Remove and wire brush it clean.

  33. Funny story, I did check them but just from the top to make sure they were tight. The thought never cross my mind to back them all the way out and see if the bottom jets were tight. It was only after I switched the carbs and actually pulled them completely out of the bad carb to see that the it had come completely free. When I was trying to get it out I dropped the 2 pins and 2 ball bearings and lost 1 of the BBs in my stone driveway but luckily I was able to find it and put it all back together. I also put that 160 t-stat with 1/8" hole in as well but that upper t-stat gasket

  34. I mention earlier to ck the jet blocks. so figured it was done already. mine back out all the time cause of vibration as for the exhaust I think 2in is fine and ezer to hide under neath. But it his vehicle. My 521 510 I did with 2.25 and with I didnt but was too late. I bet this motor be lucky to put 25hp over a stock l20 with a 45% increase in exhaust size. There was a old grass Roots motor sport. report on exhaust and the cheap 2in but good made in USA Turbo muffler was just as good as those fancy exhaust.

  35. Any FULL DIAMETER hub cap for a 14in steel wheel will fit, just like the 240Z-280Z, which is what that wheel looks like. You can not fit a small diameter "dog dish" hub cap, as there are no tabs for it to snap over. FYI look for a stamped "date code" on the FRONT lip (check all four!!), between the hub center with the slots & the outer hoop. The 1970 240Z "Series 1" steelies are worth $200-300 to the guy that needs a particular date code! Those would all have a 1969 or 1970 date code. Later 1971-1978 simply aren't in demand like the early ones.

  36. Back pressure helping an engine is a myth. A pervasive one. The benefits of properly sized exhaust are found in scavenging ability and exhaust velocity. https://drivetribe.com/p/how-does-exhaust-backpressure-work-UVtF94NcRtGs2lm_FD8dlg?iid=ag_X6s2nS2mx7GIZAo2FEA

(thanks sweet pea) I got a call a week later that they tried to repair the better looking of the two units and every time they would repair one channel, the next one would leak. They finally gave up and ordered a replacement core. I was thankful that they tried. A repair was going to run about $150. The re-core was going to be $300. $319 in fact. It was ready a week later.
