  4. If I have to go to one of those places, I carry. Mostly if I see that sign I ignore it. In WA State it’s not a crime to violate a business restriction on carrying a gun. There are state laws on carrying into bars and some other places, which I also don’t go to. In this specific case two men were carrying which created a hostage situation. I was told by Dan McKown, one of the good guys with guns, that he and the other good guy that I didn’t know, were both banned for life from the Tacoma Mall. This is an interesting opinion, although it probably w

  10. Personally, after surviving the 20 Nov 2005 Tacoma, WA Mall Shooting, I’m a huge fan of compact handguns. Also, I will never comply with private business rules on carrying firearms in their establishments.

  15. Indeed it does, it's been a long time coming. That's good to know in a pinch haha. ------------------ After letting the epoxy cure for a few days, I put the rubber floor plugs in and sprayed a bunch of stonechip protection/sound deadening on today: It's not a perfect, run-free, exactly-as-factory finish, but looks half decent and a hell of a lot better than before: The brake/fuel lines and some other misc stuff should show up next week, so that will be the next job. In the meantime I'm going to design/3d-print a bun

  16. This is out of order ....but my preferred paint guy called me and had an opening - so I jumped on it and dropped the truck off to get repainted. I'm keeping the factory cactus green color (of course). He is doing a glass out and taking the bed off paint job.

  17. Follow up on the 02 sensor. I had my exhaust redone from collector flange all the way to the tailpipe. I added a bung just after the collector and installed a new sensor so it "smells" all 4 cylinders. No real change - the truck still runs rich, using my nose as the testing device. .

  33. Painted some more stuff today, I think other than the fuel tank and the stuff I need to buy still (hardlines etc) that should be pretty much everything ready to go on once the underside of the shell is painted. I know I'm missing a couple of the brake line clamps but I'll make those when I assemble everything so I don't make ones for the wrong spots.

  36. Decided to head out to the garage for a bit to plug away at the list of jobs a little more. Drilled out/retapped a couple of the brake/fuel line brackets that had bolts snapped off in them, and then re-made the rearmost one entirely because it was rusted to nothing: I then made up some new wire ties for where they had rusted off here:
