I'll be there! The 710 is just going to need a little attention first. The cross-country roadtrip shook a few things loose.

You're even meeting at the Bay Area Discovery Museum. ...I just moved out to the Bay Area a few weeks ago to find work in museum and exhibit design.

Tyler good seeing you last night. My friend told me to do a burn out after you but sadly I've never been able to do one.

Show off :D

LOL I shouldn't have, I still have the fancy BFG's on there.  I was too juiced up after riding in the S13/V8 and then running into you :)

2nd gear, rev, dump clutch :D

Looking rorward to the run and meeting some new Dat-heads!

So while I was working on the 69 I was going to run a ground from the body to the engine and decided to see how it was done one the 71"Blueberry"  as I traced the ground wire from the frame side of engine mount to the starter mount bolt.  The ground wire was run to bottom starter bolt- well guess what - it was loose.  So I said wow I had better tighten that up before the drive on Sunday. :(  The bolt has snapped! So at this point the starter is being held in by only the top bolt.  The fix for this is going to be to relocate that ground to the engine block, and drill /grab-out the broken off piece of bolt that is stuck in the bell housing. Ugghh Looks like I have some work to do before I make the run.    Dont count me out!  I Fix things   I also want to relocate the power wire that runs from the trunk to the inside of car instead of underneath. One thing at a time right?
