I have been working on this for a while now with the help of Jonah and his dad. They had a 521 and a KA24DE that needed a home.

We started out trying to fit it with a 240sx transmission, but we found that you would have to cut the floor and maybe the torsion bar adjusting bolts to get it to fit. Thankfully they also happened to have a 720 transmission and that makes it a complete bolt in affair.

I still need to work up the rear mount as it will also need to be fabricated but I thought I would share the progress now that we are seeing results. :)

I moved this thread over here to allow adding of other peoples swaps using my mounts and to help address all the little issues that come up during this swap.

This is the link to the ad in the classifieds.

http://community.ratsun.net/classifieds/item/5568-620-ka24-engine-swap-mounts/

Here is Version 4.0 of my KA24-620 Swap brackets. The mounts are a 3/4" drop from the factory KA mounts. They will fit the KA24E and KA24DE with stock 620 rubber motor mounts and allow you to bolt the KA to your 620. These mounts require the later style 620 rubber motor mount for the L20B.

You will still have to deal with the center link flip/ oil pan clearancing with the 240 DE swap and any other transmission issues due to your choice of transmission. This is not required when using a truck KA. If you run a 720 5-speed from behind a Z-series motor it should bolt to the stock transmission mount at the stock crossmember location.

I also have a MAF and Fuel Pump Bracket available.

Hey I'm looking for a project and this truck seems to be priced a little high. I could be wrong. He says he's been trying for a year and is firm on the price. Two rust spots on bed and door. I plan to eventually engine swap it so I'm split between waiting for a non running 620 and if I like the king cab versus base model. Appreciate any opinions. Price is in Canadian $.

donkongy46 said "i know a guy" then gave me an email and username that don't exist on this board. Payment (through zelle, to a different name) was rejected by the recipient bank, thank god, and they gave me a cashapp with ANOTHER different name and I said no thanks!

They both stopped e-mailing me when I asked for them to take a picture of the manifold with a timestamped piece of paper with their or my name on it.

Just another reason to always ask for proof of ownership along with the pictures.

I think it’s time to sell my 200sx. It’s kind of a soft sale at the moment and just want to see if there is any interest. It’s an ‘83 with just under 53k miles. Currently doesn’t run and is sitting on flats. Let me know if you’d be interested.

The gentleman I purchased my car from has a sedan from 1978 that he wants to get rid of. I don't have a whole lot of photos and this guy is not much on the internet but I have his contact information. He has two four door sedans, one is in pretty good shape the other one is a parts car because it looks like the entire body is eaten away. But I didn't look too closely at it.

He wants to sell both vehicles for around $2500 or so. If anyone's in the market for this type of car (I can't be the only crazy person who likes this car) let me know I'm trying to get photos from him but it ain't the easiest thing.

Watch out for sergio33, I got a message from him in regards to my intake manifold wanted ad. I realized quickly that it seemed fishy as he has a brand new account and the guy he referred to that apparently has an intake available doesn't exist on the forum. Here is the message he sent. "Hey, have you try asking Jason94sport about the L20b Intake he has to part out with? If not i will advise you to ask him because the last time i spoke with him, it's still available and he wants to let it go for a very affordable offer. You can email him for a fast response. Bascotbills@gmail.com Have a nice day." Apparently somebody is going around on various car forums using almost the same exact message with that fake jason94sport handle and Bascotbills@gmail.com email. Luckily I figured out this was a scam right away and didn't send any money.
