I’m looking for everything. Complete trans, torque, and flywheel. Anything else I may need to make the conversion. Production date on mine is 2/82 so it doesn’t have lock up. Missing my ID tag from under the hood but I’m pretty sure it’s only a 3N71B. Revs way to high. Not sure if the two transmissions are the same length. These trucks are hard to come by my neck of the woods.

 I’ve never started my own thread on a forum ever so not really wanting to make a fool of myself here. Long time lurker.

Knuckles, would an 86 720 auto fit the bill? I have everything from the pressure plate back and can pull the shifter as well.

They don't rev too high, they may seem to rev too high. Big difference. Do you have a tach? What's 'too high' for you?

 

The torque converter will lower cruise by about 200 RPMs.
