Yes, the regulator I need is a hand operated- like the one shown above. I have been trying to score one online and thought I found one... the seller had listed it as fitting an 83, but it was a different style than the cross-arm. It was a straight vertical piece of metal- still hand operated- but with a cable that lifted the window up/down. The vertical piece was too long to fit into the door frame. I just assumed that it had been listed incorrectly and was from a different year? So now, back to the hunt!
