Description

I’m in search of a Datsun 620 xtra cab something road worthy. I missed out on great looking truck a year ago and I’ve been kicking myself ever since. I’m in the bay area and would like to find something somewhat close.

Called a King Cab in Datsun/Nissan speak. Nissan invented the mini truck in the late '50s, produced the first long bed mini truck in '75, the first extended cab model they called the King Cab in '77. The one pictured appears to be a '77. The '78 and '79 had front disc brakes and ball joint suspension doing away with front drum brakes and king pin steering. They also had the latest EI electronic ignition and an internally regulated alternator. Five speeds were an option so I would look for a '78 or '79 KC.
