I have a 1982 Datsun 720 King Cab it’s a 2WD with automatic transmission, 194,00 original miles and runs like a top. Recently rebuilt carburetor, replaced fuel lines, tune up, new battery, new tires, recently freshened up the interior, Actully an upgrade from a 1984 ST. New tires including spare, Original FM stereo with new speakers, Just ordered a new Coverlay dash cap to be installed. The truck is about %90 complete as is. Would need new door seals and window gaskets to be %100. Have rubber belt moldings, King Cab pillar trim and a new sliding rear window as well as other miscellaneous parts. Original Hitachi carb and air cleaners as well.
 

Ok now the bad the truck is an all original Arizona vehicle NO RUST. Only some surface rust Some areas of Arizona are emissions exempt. We rescued this truck from Huachuca City, Arizona where there is no emissions testing,  The previous owner stripped the truck of all it’s ECU equipment therefore would need classic car insurance or live in an area that does not require emissions testing.

There is NO HEAT, heater core needs replacement or find someone to rebuild it, NO A/C there is a company that sells aftermarket for about $3,000

This truck runs strong but won’t win you any races or get you a speeding ticket but she’ll take you where you need to go. The stereo drowns out noise but your not going to listen to a rock concert while your driving.

It;s been a fun project we found it as mainly a drivable shell and I’ve hunted and sourced most of the parts I can find, Now that it’s almost complete and looks like a real truck again it’s time to let someone else enjoy it and finish where I’ve left off so I can move on to another project
