Description

I bought an ‘84 720 with all the emissions shit ripped out for Weberization. I have the original carb and egr valve, but nothing else. Turns out I need to get smogged.

 

Anyone wanna help me out with their unused emissions bits and pieces?

Idaho has emissions testing??? Need more info.

 

If just a tail pipe sniffer it may pass as it is with stock carburetor (includes stock air cleaner also) and EGR. Find out.

 

If it has to pass a visual inspection then you will need the equipment for your year truck so add the year. '84??

Yup two counties in Idaho have emissions testing. Governor signed a repeal of the emissions laws, but the repeal is subject to EPA review. Unfortunately, I need to get tested by Feb at the latest. If it happens, no more testing goes into effect July ‘23.

 

Sniffer AND visual. I need to mock up an EGR tube, mines long gone. I’ve wondered how easy it would be to get away with “fake” vacuum hoses to an OEM air cleaner topped Weber.
