Description

Hey, I have an 1979 Datsun 210 I am looking to swap a ‘79-83 200sx axle in with disc brakes. Interested in the whole car or just parts. Other parts I’d be interested in on a 200sx is the front crossmember, possibly engine and transmission. Thanks for your time. David

'79 was the last year of the first gen S10 200sx. They had drum brakes.

 

The '80-'83 S110 200sx had two different axles. The '80-'81 had the H-165 and 3.70 ratio. (still a nice upgrade from the H-150 in the 210) I don't care for the rear disc brake on it but... The '82-'83 had a whopping H-190 (because Z22 engine) with 3.70 if automatic but a terrible 3.545 if from a manual and nicer looking rear disc brakes. Both were coil and link just like the 210. The 210 has 3.70 if manual and 3.90 is automatic however 3.545 if A15 engine.

 

The '84 S12 (third gen) 200sx also had the H-190 and rear disc for that one year.
